Sock It To Me Twice Questionnaire

How long have you been knitting? Do you consider yourself beginner, intermediate, advanced? I consider myself an intermediate knitter. I've been knitting non-stop for over a year but actually have been knitting for about 2 years.

How long have you been knitting socks? I've been knitting socks for about a half a year now. I tried to learn toe-up but had problems with starting with a few stitches. Now, I knit socks all the time.

What are your favorite fibers to work with? I love working with wool and bamboo

What is your favorite color? I absolutely love orange. I also like the fall colors with it. Burgandy, browns and purples. I don't like too much green mixed with the fall colors.

What are your current WIPs (works in progress)? Clapotis, Sven Sweater

What is your family situation? (Married, kids, pets?) I'm married, have 2 kids, one is 20 and just recently moved out. The other is 15 years old.

Name some of your favorite movies? Lion King, Top Gun, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, I love romantic movies.

Do you like to read? I love to read. But lately, my love of knitting is taking that over.

Do you collect anything? Knitting books and sock yarn

Do you own an iPod or mp3 player? I have an iPod

What are your favorite type of knitting needles? I like Brittany's for socks. I love the Knit Picks the new Harmony Options set.

What knitting notion could you not live without? Stitchmarkers, my crochet hook,

Who are some of your favorite designers? Cookie A, Amy Singer, don't really have any.

Do you subscribe to any magazines? (Knitting or otherwise.) Just signed up for Creative Knitting. I would love to get a subscription to Interweave Knits. That's on my wish list.
